Become a Friend of Ferris

The Friends of Ferris is an energetic, non-profit group of volunteers who are hard at work, constantly bringing to Ferris special events and promotions unique to our Provincial Park! We are part of a growing network of co-operating associations across Ontario.

They assist in the maintenance of trails, trail markers and even installed trail benches for you to sit and enjoy the quiet moments at Ferris. A major project undertaken by the Friends was in partnership with the Campbellford Rotary Club. A new picnic shelter was built entirely with volunteers and today family gatherings, company picnics and special events in the Park all benefit from this structure. Another recent improvement is the purchase and installation of playground equipment much to the delight of young campers.
